Wolfe Takes First Blood


Noah Wolfe headed home a Fusion 1-2-3-4 at the first IAME Cadet race of 2021 at the team's home track, Kimbolton on Saturday.


The event was dominated by the team who ended with 8 drivers in the top 10 in the Final.

William Murtagh opened the team's account with a stunning lap in Qualifying to take pole position by 0.5 seconds! Noah was second with Zac Drummond and the in form Jorge Edgar making it a top 4 lock out in the damp conditions.


Heat 1 was won by Zac ahead of Noah and Will who also set fastest lap as the track dried. Noah reversed the positions in Heat 2 finishing ahead of Zac., Ben Smith, Will, Jorge and Harrison Mackie, for a Fusion 1-6.


In the Final a breakaway trio of Noah, Zac and Ben headed the pack, with Jorge coming through to P4. Roman Kamyab recovered from difficult heats to reach the top 7 before and incident set him back. Aston Sharp also made a strong recovery, up 11 places to an eventual P7.


As the 20 lap race neared its end, Noah had pushed Zac away from Ben and they had time in hand for a last lap battle, with Noah edging out his team mate, for a strong win from Zac in P2, Ben in P3, Jorge P4, Jenson Graham P6, Aston P7, Harrison P8 and Ethan Woodward a superb P9!


In Juniors Kanato Le scored a P3 and a commanding win in his heats to line up on pole. He led majority of the race but in the closing stages dropped back to P3 to secure a solid podium with Fionn Mclaughlin and Jess Edgar also in the top 10.


Minis saw Leo Robinson finish on there second step of the podium on with Wes Swain eventually finishing P5 after a difficult start.


A total of 5 podiums for the team and top novice by Antoni Witkowski rounded up a successful first visit to the UK tracks in 2021.
